Nice hotel and room

Large and comfortable room. Excellent facilities. Location was good. Only issue was that the hotel was a non-smoking hotel and our room smelled of recent smokers.

Très belle chambre. Il y a quelques petits détails à revoir. Il n'y a pas de poêle pour cuisiner. Il faudrait penser à mettre une cafetière si possible et pas assez de chaîne de télé. Sinon excellent séjour je reviendrais avec plaisir et j'en ai déjà parler autour de moi . A bientôt. Cordialement.

Canal Suites Critique, Positive

I have been comfortable at this establishment. The staff, mostly, is friendly and it is convenient to be next to the T3b tram line to reach central Paris. The breakfast is way overpriced, but everyone has their own customs regarding that...if you can ascertain a competitive price, I would recommend the Canal Suites Hotel.They also have a fitness center which is great for people who like to stay active during vacation or business trips.

It smelled of smoke and some the staff was not that friendly! The language barrier made it more difficult. The hotel is in a quaint but rundown neighborhood. I wish they were not rated a 3.7 on Expedia, this place is more like a 1.5!

I had an experience where I was painfully injured and the man at the front desk Mr.Moussa took very good care of me in his best ability, as I was crying in pain, he spent half an hour trying to contact SAMU or the ambulance services to help me and he was very patient and supportibe. I will always appreciate his kindness and professionalism.

Bad smell, terrible WIFI

The studio apartment smelled of cigarettes when I checked in. The bed was really uncomfortable, there was a collapsible sofa-bed. There were big cigarette burns both on the carpet and on the bed. The WIFI was absolutely unusable. I had to check-out one day earlier because I couldn't make online calls (I came for work purposes). The internet was so slow that I couldn't watch videos or even properly browse on the internet. Very disappointed with my stay.

The property was nice for a stay in Paris. The bed is a sofa bed but was comfortable. There is a kitchenette and they provide Potts, plates and sliver wear. We did not get to use it but it is perfect if you want to save some money by going to a nearby supermarket or farmers market. It was also located next to a tram that had a stop near a mall with lots of entertainment and places to eat. There was also a metro near by to get to the city. It is an older hotel so the carpets had some stains and there were some weird smells in the hallways at times. Housekeeping came in and cleaned up often. The staff was friendly, knew English, and were available 24/7. The hotel was a great place to come and rest after exploring Paris. Overall, a pleasant stay.
