I booked La Clef Louvre Paris by The Crest Collection expecting a true five-star experience, but unfortunately the hotel did not meet that standard. The shower water pressure was extremely weak, and getting into the bathtub/shower requires climbing over a very high edge, which is a serious safety concern, especially for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. I was also surprised that there was no minibar, an amenity commonly expected in a hotel of this category. The most disappointing part of my stay occurred on the night of July 8, when the hotel lost power at approximately 5:00 a.m. Electricity was not restored until around 12:00 p.m., leaving guests without air conditioning, lights, or basic room functionality for about seven hours. I was feeling ill that night, making the situation even more difficult. It is hard to understand how a hotel claiming to be five-star does not have adequate backup power for its guests. The staff were courteous and professional throughout my stay, and I have no complaints about their service. My concerns are with the hotel’s facilities and management. Given the circumstances, I believe refunding the room charge for that night would be an appropriate gesture. Unfortunately, this was not the five-star experience I expected.

This is a quiet, charming Parisian style apartment hotel. Our cozy suite was perfectly located on the 2nd floor corner overlooking the fountains and trees at the base of Ave de L’Opera. Lots of people watching and just minutes from the Louvre and the Seine river. Our suite had a galley kitchen with a small fridge, cooktop, dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The lounge has a 24hr automated espresso/coffee machine as well as an afternoon bar self-service($). We didn’t have breakfast in the Lounge as we’re not big breakfast people. The front desk folks were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately there was no early check available and they did mid-tag our luggage for another room but that got sorted out quickly. It’s very quiet in the reception / seating area with never more than a few guests at a time. The lounge/room staff were also friendly and helpful. Any time we called the front desk to restock room items, they responded immediately. This hotel exceeded our expectations and the location was absolutely perfect.

This hotel is in a spectacular location! Right by the louvre, the Royal gardens and a bustling square with so many options for lunch and dinner. The hop on hop off has a stop right by it. And then the rooms are so beautifully appointed! I didn’t want to leave. The people are wonderful and kind. Everything was just perfect. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The balcony to our room had the best Parisienne feel to it. Enjoyed thoroughly!!!

The stay was overall ok. Stayed here with my family in the junior suite for 3 nights. The room is dark, barely any natural light - maybe just my preference for a bright room. You can tell that the hotel is old but well kept. We booked this hotel for the apartment functionality of it, however, the dryer isn’t working well. Overall, we found the staff to be very nice, respectful and communicates in English very well. Great hospitality. The staff rating is 5/5.

Stayed in spacious suite, but still street noise from 4th floor. Small gym available on premises. Buffet breakfast served in the hotel; nice lady from hotel staff assisting guests. Room service for food was available from restaurant outside the hotel--an hour wait just to place order one night, since outside restaurant stopped taking orders for an hour. Hotel conveniently located in District 1, near many sights.
