As for the shortcomings, poor television and media options,(no international news or film options), only a single chair if the sofa bed was being used, no toiletries, no coffe maker, no teabags. "This quickly became my favourite hotel for a stopover while travelling through France. It is a beautiful historic building with a great renovation and a lovely swimming pool. The staff were charming and efficient. I would strongly recommend it."

"Beautiful property in a wonderful scenic setting, with a path from the door down to the bay below. Good views (when the sea mist lifted) of the sea, all the way to Le Havre. Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us"
