"I was in Columbus Georgia for an event at Columbus State University and I wanted a hotel close by. I was pleasantly surprised by how well equipped my room was I've never stayed at a Townplace before. I had a king bed, beautiful big TV, a full kitchen and a large coffee pot with coffee. "This property get's no stars from my husband and I. After leaving our cruise from Port Canaveral we decided to take out time arriving back to Atlanta. We booked this room through Expedia after reviewing the reviews. They were'nt great but they were descent to sleep for a night (we thought). We arrived late to the Hotel to find the Check In office was closed. All the lights were out and there was a sign that said the office closed at 11:00. We beat on the door several minutes with no response. After sitting in the apartment lot tryng to see if there was any contact information for us to inquire and there was no number or instructions given. We decided to leave the go the the property that sits directly in front of this hotel. We learned they had no rooms available. I then mentioned the situation we were having with Studio 6 and he told me that the attendant was there and gave me a direct number to call. We returned to Studio 6 and called the number and a man answered the phone and told me to come to the door. He was very rude but either way we got the keys to our room 339. Upon entering and turning on the lights roaches began to scatter. It was now 1:00 in the morning and we had to sleep. We killed the ones we seen and gathered what we needed for the over night stay only and put our bags back in the car. I went to go take a shower only to find that the shower did not work. No one answered the phone! I would not advise this hotel to anyone!"

"The staff were fantastic. The lady at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and friendly and the lady who runs breakfast in the morning makes you feel like you're at your grandma's house. She is lovely! The only reason we book this hotel was because of the indoor pool for our daughter. But when we arrived the door to the outside had had the glass broken out of it. We were there for 3 days. The glass was never cleaned up nor the door fixed nor the pool opened. That was very frustrating. The TV in our room did not work. We tried switching out the remote and that was not the problem but it was late at night so we just went to bed. The light switch in the bathroom was not set in flush and when we flipped it on the light sparked. We did not use that light again. The next morning I told the front desk about the TV and the light switch and they moved us to a different room which I appreciated. The rooms were clean as well as the bedding. However in the second room when we opened the pull out couch, the mattress had some pretty grotesque huge stains across most of it. It looked like faded dried blood that they tried to get out but couldn't so they flipped the mattress over to the wrong side. The 'gym' was subpar but better than nothing but no water source in the gym or easily accessible in the lobby area."

"This hotel was clean & the staff was very friendly. On-site vending machines only take cash. Free breakfast was VERY limited. Waffles, muffins, & cereal. Water, juices & coffee. That's it. If you have to Uber while here multiple of our drivers had issues getting to the property due to the hotel hides behind a pizza restaurant."
