"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I’ll admit, I was a bit unsure given some of the mixed reviews, but our experience was largely excellent. The property is beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was clean and comfortable — everything you’d hope for in a relaxing getaway.
One word of caution for future guests: avoid using the concierge desk to book excursions. The concierge we dealt with was not transparent about the additional service fees being charged. After comparing prices, we realized we were being upcharged almost 40% compared to booking directly with the tour operator. Upon recognizing this, we immediately asked for a refund. While she was initially hesitant to process it, we did ultimately receive a full refund and booked the same activity ourselves directly through the provider’s website.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would still recommend the hotel itself — just be sure to double-check excursion pricing before booking through the concierge."
