"The property is in a good location but was very run down and dirty. The curtains in our room were shredded, the top bolt on the door was broken in our room, and the whole hotel was very dirty. The staff was friendly but it did not outweigh all of the other issues. If I could have backed out at check in I would have. Never again!"

"Check in process was terribly. Very unhelpful staff. Parking was confusing and very beyond expensive. Workout room was smothering hot and not all of the machines worked and the floor was dirty. Very disappointing stay."

"We were amazed at the size of our room, we had two fireplaces on a little kitchenette along with a very lovely bedroom and a nice bathroom. Location and neighborhood are lovely. A couple things keep it from being perfect. This is our second time staying with them and the hot option on the breakfast hasn't been great either time ( although the coffee is great). The TV did seem to have a mind of its own and stopped working in the middle of our movie, and the fridge in the room didn't work all together so the things we put in there didn't keep. The tub was a delightful size but there were not a lot of spaces to put toiletries. Overall the historic home is gorgeous, and tends to be very good value for money in close walking distance of really nice shops and restaurants. "
