"It was great being within the old town area, and the location very near the free bus to the castles was a real plus. The facility is getting a bit dated and the (family) room, while spacious, was not very well appointed. Breakfast was great. Navigating the hotel's underground parking garage was a bit tight."

"Hotel Hirsch is an excellent hotel immediately outside the old town walls, less than a five minute walk to the nearby shops and restaurants in Fussen. Access to free parking on site. Hotel restaurant was excellent t for included breakfast. We enjoyed a very good dinner there too. "

"This was the most amazing property. Tremendous spa. Gorgeous garden. Beautiful rooms. Tremendously good food. (Order the pork schnitzel!) Very helpful staff. If you enjoy cocktails seek out Shiva. He is a master non pareil."
