The room and facility was spotlessly clean, which is always lovely. The staff I interacted with were friendly and very helpful. The physical plant needs an update. The Sandman Hotel is showing it's age with wear and tear visible throughout the facility.

They had some great amenities - swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room and lots of seating. My only complaint was the staff smoking right outside the entrance to the hotel. I am allergic to cigarette smoke so that put me off.

Average in cleanliness and average in staff but I still like the hot tub! There was though dirt and etc needing to be cleaned at bottom of tub. Was quiet too but not many guests were there for a Mon night. Great location for concerts and etc in Penticton.
