“Meikleour Arms is a unique inn on a large estate (hence "Arms," which refers to the coat of arms of the estate owner. Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. We loved staying here, and fishing with Ian, the "ghillie" who put me onto a beautiful sea trout and taught me how to cast a spey rod. ”

“Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn. The breakfast was excellent & as a vegan the staff went out if their way to make sure that I had a good breakfast that I could eat . My brother...

“The amazing water mill was a stunning and unique feature of the hotel. We found the noise of the water flowing throughreally calming. Our room was lovely and clean. The toilet was nice and clean but it was tired looking just needs upgraded. Overall a very enjoyable stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits.
