Perth Hills, Western Australia hotel rooms at the Gresham Hotels

"Pros: Staff at check-in were friendly and helpful. Great value accommodation for our family of three. Convenient location not far from the CBD or Victoria Park and close to plenty of shops and services. Nearby walk alongside the Swan River (from Adachi Park heading north up to and around Ascot Waters Marina) was very enjoyable and a highlight of our stay. Cons: Some of the cutlery in the kitchenette in our room was filthy (looked like it had been used then just placed back into the cutlery tray!) and had obviously been overlooked by cleaning staff. When our family of arrived for our two night stay, there was little more than one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom (we got more when we asked for it). The horizontal curtain rail holding the main window curtain had loose mountings and it looked like the curtain could fall down whenever we opened or closed it! Some of the outdoor areas particularly on stairs and walkways could do with a clean and possibly a coat of paint as they were showing their age and wear."

"Only one person at desk when I checked in with a line of other people waiting. Not advised to take milk when checking in. Room clean But no hot water in shower and when I advised person at desk when I checked out he seemed completely not fussed about it. Didn’t apologise "

"Great room with a premium river view outlook. BUT...Please clean your windows so the price tag reflects the view. They were extremely dirty. Be aware of an hour check in at 3 and waiting 40 minute's to receive our car out of valet was very unfortunate as well. Staff very welcoming and friendly. "

"Basic check in with no welcome or hotel explanation, room wasn’t vacuumed, tv didn’t work- kept turning itself off. Given an accessible room even though didn’t need or want it. Around the pool lots of tiles missing, no one working at pool bar. For the money it’s not worth it. "
