Some sort of special event drove up all the hotel prices in Petaluma this weekend...so I made do with this Super 8 for $104 on a Saturday night...I think this used to be a Motel 6? I usually stay at Hampton Inn or Best Western, but couldn't bring myself to spend $225+/night for myself. PROs: -Very low prices...I think this is cheapest hotel in all of Petaluma. -Clean Room and bathroom...though very old. -Very quiet location CONs: -Smaller room -No shampoo, just one little bar of soap. -No fridge, microwave, or coffee machine. Ice machines were broken. -Older, creaky, uneven beds, at least the sheets were nice. Since this was a Motel 6 before, maybe it's about to go through major renovation? You get what you pay for.

We decided to make a review for this property as we booked it for the pool, the laundry services and ice machine. However, all three of these services were not in working order. Very disappointed. You get what you pay for. I'm accustomed to noise, checking out my window throughout the night on my vehicle. However in the two and a half years I've stayed there on and off, it's just that. You get what you pay for but I've never had a problem. Great staff! Always helpful when I needed it.
