We stayed for 2 nights, the room was nice and comfortable. As is the norm in hotels there wasnt enough milk, tea, coffee and sugar in the room. The restaurant was a different story. The staff were lovely and very polite, price was good but service was lacking. We had a meal on the Friday evening and half of it was cold (they did make fresh (hot) chips for us though). Breakfast on the Saturday morning was a bit of a challenge, nothing was right - wrong item served and one of us had to wait 15 minutes for their omlette. We had booked a table for the Saturday for my friends birthday but decided to cancel the table and we thought Weatherspoons was a better option. I'd stay at the hotel but wouldn't eat at restaurant again - very disappointing.

Reasonably good Inn. Block of rooms are separate from the Inn and reception. Lots of parking available. Card access to the building and room but this is annoying when only given one card to use because if someone stays in the room when the other person is out then your lights go off. Reception was also slow and closed at 9am when we left. Basic cleaning is good.

No fringe in room, no one checked to see if there was tea or coffee for second day of break,very slow at clearing glasses from table in bar, there was four of us and when we got up too go to room to change there was 12 empty glasses etc,etc on to table

Really great convenient place.
I guess it's essentially a travel lodge, but a really great one! Lovely accommodating staff, great room, amazing value for money, easy parking, ground floor good acess. Great place.

Leisure weekend with friends. Hotel well placed with good choice of restaurant and food outlets. Petrol station close by is a bonus.

Good value for money, comfortable bed, good shower, easy safe parking and really awesome staff. All staff were very friendly and helpful and they totally made my 3 night stay. This is a great spot for travelling about the area but the best bit about it is the staff, friendly and approachable, they make you feel at home. The prices are great and less than some other eateries of the same style. The only issue with the whole package was that the bed was firm but then not every inn will have the perfect bed. The rooms are large enough and spotless and the staff are great.
