We stayed for 2 nights, the room was nice and comfortable. As is the norm in hotels there wasnt enough milk, tea, coffee and sugar in the room.
The restaurant was a different story. The staff were lovely and very polite, price was good but service was lacking. We had a meal on the Friday evening and half of it was cold (they did make fresh (hot) chips for us though). Breakfast on the Saturday morning was a bit of a challenge, nothing was right - wrong item served and one of us had to wait 15 minutes for their omlette. We had booked a table for the Saturday for my friends birthday but decided to cancel the table and we thought Weatherspoons was a better option. I'd stay at the hotel but wouldn't eat at restaurant again - very disappointing.
