"Do NOT book here! I prepaid via Expedia, and when I arrived, they said they had sold out of rooms and had NO room for me at their hotel. "The hosts were nice and picked me up from Ao Luek Bus Station for 300 Baht. They can arrange a boat tour of the Bay if you are so inclined. Communication was through Google translate. If you're a fisher, you may be interested to see the noisy and smelly jellyfish harvest processing going on next door, day and night during this season. "I had a wonderful 1 night stay at Chez Charly during Songkran. The place is very close to the airport, and it’s a nice 1 mile walk to Naiyang beach. Chez Charly is bright and beautiful and full of greenery. So lovely to wake up to! And the hosts are absolute gems. So accommodating! I would definitely stay here again. :D P.S. I highly recommend the upstairs room with the balcony. ^-^"

"They resort was unresponsive to my messages and calls. I showed up from the airport after a 20 minutes drive around 10pm. No one was present to give me a key, and no one was answering the phone, I had been trying to call before my flight took off as well. We ended up having to drive back to the airport to find a different hotel last minute. Very disappointed and unprofessional. "

"I had the room at the front of the building. The room was spacious, with two huge windows, so plenty of light. The view is good at eye level and above. It was well decorated and pleasant. On the down side, it overlooks the main road so is rather noisy. During the day, it's a continuous drone, so it fades into the background. At night, earplugs! These are kindly provided. Be aware, the other rooms face onto a wall."
