Very busy area with lots of shops and restaurants. "

"Most of the staff not very pleasant - with exception of Italian restaurant. Resort under construction even on sundays. Kerik and Charlie made the trip - bartenders other than resort is ok , beaches are beautiful and close to airport which is nice and can see the planes take off and land "

"The infinity pool is wonderful. Beautifully designed with the area made to look like you're wading on the edge of the beach, plus the view to the ocean is lovely. The rooms are nice, bathrooms are very nice. My only complaint is that housekeeping is TERRIBLE. We had our room cleaned ONCE in six days, after requesting service and being out of the room for six hours at a time each day. Also had to ask for more toilet paper, kleenex, and towels, which is really substandard for a hotel of otherwise high quality."

"The rooms were clean and the pools were beautiful. Unfortunately the pool bar and restaurant closest to our room was closed for renovations but everything was beautiful "

"Staff were friendly but not exceedingly helpful. Someone could have taken 2 minutes to show us to our room. Instead we struggled to find the place in the rain. Also, when we entered the room we noticed a message that they would fumigate room next day and we climbed to have that done. The property should do that when place is vacant. Does not make for a great impression when one first arrives. The room is designed nicely but a little tired and needs to become modernized. I had assumed that the gym would be included but not so. One has to pay extra for that. Lastly… room cleaning seems very erratic. We ran out of towels and had to ask for cleaning. Would not rate this anywhere near a 9 but more like a 6.5. "

"This may not be the most elegant hotel on the island, but in my opinion it is the best. The food at the Gingerbread Cafe rivals any top class restaurant and the mini-mart, albeit small, has anything that you may want. If they don't they will get if for you. Also, you can fill out a grocery list and they will stock your room with those items so that they are there when you arrive. All rooms have two bedrooms and bathrooms. Two large couches in the living area, one being a sleeper. A small kitchen but with anything that you would need if you decided to cook. Dining table with 4 chairs. There is a TV in both bedrooms and the living room. Each unit has a very large porch overlooking the beach and the ocean. Great housekeeping service everyday. The staff are exceptional. It is a couple of minutes walk on a pathway by the beach to the hotel next door if you choose to eat at the restaurants there, but with the Gingerbread Cafe available, there really is not a need. I do have to admit that if you are a pool person, theirs is very small, but it isn't really needed with the ocean right there. The price is great and you should really try out this hidden gem."
