The koi carp pond is an attractive feature of the hotel, pleasant place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee from the hotel coffee shop. "This property is a mixed bag. Started off well when manager bought a hit water kettle for morning coffee when I asked about one in my room. But problems built over two weeks. Key cards failed 3 times. Air Con failed in last night. BTW I lost one of the key cards through a hole in my pocket, and was charged a ludicrous 400 baht for it. On two nights, neighbors packed in an adjacent room had loud drunken parties late into the evening. Eventually management did quiet them down, but, having already had to change rooms due to loud wrecking ball construction outside my window, I wasn’t in the mood. There is no elevator to the upper floors. The “balconies” are just a 2x2 outdoor space where smokers can do their thing - no chair, no table, and definitely no view. The price was reasonable, but it’s quite easy to find better for the same or less. The location is very good, a short walk to great little riverfront walking street, 7/11, ATMs, and excellent night street food."
