The only note that, I booked the ocean front, but I got the ocean view one: I’m not sure they have true ocean front one. Overall, I do enjoy my stay. Excellent resort with great ammenities. The gardens are just stunning and the pool area is the perfect place to curl up with a book. What makes this resort the perfect go to is the staff, Sam is a gift and the entire team do not fail to deliver day upon day. The rooms are a little bit dated but the resort gardens, ammenities and dining options make up for the lack of modern room styling. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance but for the price point and taste factor we happily ate at the resort on multiple occasions, most certainly do the upstairs dining option of an evening, an absolute experience. If you want drinks and vibe pop next door out the back to the left for some drinks and bites and then pop back to the luxury La Veranda has to offer. Truly it’s a home away from home and the staff create this beautiful energy :)

This is quite simply the best hotel on the island. The staff go above and beyond. Sam who leads the team really knows what makes a perfect stay. The hotel is nestled away in a busy area but it has this wonderful calming tranquil vibe. It's also spacious, from dining to the beach it's all laid out so it's very private. The food is excellent, and the cocktails are just perfect. The on-site spa is my favourite in the world, the staff are all fully trained massueses and it shows! Having visited Phu quoc for over 10 years and also staying at many other hotels ( because we split our stay over 2 weeks) there is no where that comes close to La Veranda.

We have travelled all around Vietnam and have so many lovely stays everywhere we have stayed but the service here was a dream. So many smiles and kindness from all the staff. The grounds are stunning, Pool beautiful and warm. We even found a wine we liked here which is saying alot. The tropical foliage on the paths around grounds is stunning as well. We used the spa, had several dinners , and listened to music from their talented singers. We didnt use beach alot but their staff were right there making sure you were taken care of. I personally thought water looked polluted which is not their fault. Lots of mosquitos though so bring bug spray. The hotel tried spraying best they could. But you are in jungle. 100 percent recommend. Oh the breakfast was devine each morning with a breathtaking view . Turn down service with a baked treat was just the added touch to make this a world class special treat.

La Veranda was the best property I stayed at while my three weeks in Vietnam. I am definitely recommending this to friends and if I return to the island, I will stay here the staff was above and beyond friendly. Sam, from guest relations made me feel so welcome from the onset of my visit. Luan also made me feel very welcome in explaining the property amenities. I pre-planned a massage and that was an amazing way to start my visit. I didn’t feel like I needed to leave the resort as the beach and pool were so lovely and quiet. The beach waters were safe and I knew the beach staff was looking out. The breakfast buffet was very good, I enjoyed the maid to order eggs and pancakes. The pastry section was very good being a solo traveler. I appreciated how extensive the in room dining menu was and how excellent the food tasted. I didn’t want to leave this property. Everything exceeded my expectations.
