I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel with the only thing letting them down is general maintenance. Little things like broken mosquito netting, no shower gel in the bathroom. "An ordinary hotel in Battambang- very hard uncomfortable bed, room didn’t overlook a pool- shower room had water, we didn’t get any hot water, curtains were ineffective. Interesting lock (padlock) for the room, We ordered some room service- this was ok. Seemed a nice family running the place but it’s more of a guest house feel."
