"The view is totally stunning! The pool was rather cool at 8pm partly because the property is out of the sun. It's a lovely pool though and we had it to ourselves. The accommodation is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staff are helpful by message. Would recommend especially as a place to explore the lake by ferry. The roads nearby are pretty busy in July and narrow!"

"My boyfriend and I stayed at hotel baretta for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The hotel is in an amazing location in Varenna; 3 minutes from the train station, and 1-2 minutes from the lake. The hotel itself is older but room was clean and no issues. I would 100% stay here again and I would recommend to my family and friends!"
