“AMAZINGLY customer service oriented. Bereníce, staff, SO attentive, kind & thorough. Prior to arrival, resort administrator engaged to make personalized arrangements. Wifi steady & stable. Jacuzzi a plus. For arrival, standard vehicle OK (albeit slow w potholes with some portions being unpaved roads), but 4x4 might be helpful. Highly recommend to get away from it all to chill. I travel a lot, and I would go back. ”

“This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. ”

“Beautiful mountain paradise, great chalet with impressive design, looking at a mountain and little waterfall out the window. Magical, feels like a personal mountain and waterfall and river. So nice and minutes from DinoLand and the Blue Falls- great hikes and big waterfalls!!!”

“We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. We found the supermarket with ease. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit with a large breakfast of beans...

“Older hotel, but lovely staff, gated parking, and right across the street from the beach. Has a restaurant, but didn’t eat there. Many dining options within walking distance. Would gladly stay here again! ”

“Jose' was super helpful with anything we needed. Johnny of the spot. View is nice around the area with really good restaurants within walking distance. The sleeping area could use a lamp. The overhead lights are a bit harsh for that area. There were a couple dogs that would be barking late into the night sometimes,10-11:30 PM . ”
