"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is well located and very close to restaurants and attractions. There is the Dari Island drive in across the street. It is very well known locally and serves good food and ice cream. The room was very clean. One drawback is the room is not well lit. They need to add an end table with a bright light. The room had a microwave and mini fridge which are welcome amenities. Everything in the room worked properly. The TV, fridge and hair dryer were good. The door handle to get into the room was noticeably loose. There is free parking just outside the rooms. The breakfast was ok. It is served from 7-10 am. There is a waffle maker, cereal, some muffins, yogurt. Not a lot of choice. There was no fresh fruit or hot items. The space where breakfast is held was clean and well maintained."

"My family and I (group of 8) enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Smokey Hollow, the last weekend in May. We were fortunate enough, to be able to stay in the 2 bedroom Kippans Cabin and a double guest room. The property is conveniently located just minutes before the entrance and main area to Clear Lake. It is very clean and well maintained. The newly refurbished rooms are thoughtfully designed with a Scandinavian flair for clean and simple decor. Very Comfortable. A great thought, was that there is outdoor seating for a quiet evening to enjoy the sunset. The Kippans Cabin was so cozy and enabled us to prepare meals for our group. The rooms were comfortable, and the back sunroom creates a third option for sleeping. We loved having the windows open and enjoying the smell and sound of the rain falling one afternoon. The dining area was comfortable for playing games. The property managers opened the pool early and it looked like a perfect place to enjoy a sunny summer day! What made the weekend for me was renting their E-Bikes for the ENTIRE day on Saturday! WOW!!! The absolutely most perfect way to enjoy Clear Lake! Highly recommend. THANK YOU so much for a WONDERFUL stay!"
