Didn’t love the hard floors in the room. Liked the A/C

We were so pleased that Hotels.com recommended this hotel/restaurant in this lovely picturesqe village that we would not have visited except for this booking. The hotel is like a Parisian 4 star; beds were wonderful, room was large, bathroom was gorgeous. We wanted to postpone our trip north and stay a second night but the hotel was full, and I know why! Go to Ornans, visit the Courbet museum and stay here!

Very friendly service, lovely garden area, 20 minutes walk to downtown.

Great location

Clean, nicely renovated, comfy bed, spacious room, nice staff. Only one thing: when there is a heatwave, it would be necessary to have access to ice-cubes -- truly it would not be a luxury at all. I would be ok having to pay a fair price for that, because being able to drink cold water is a health matter.

You need to appreciate the uniqueness and longevity of older properties.

Everything was great. The parking is tricky and getting to the hotel can be, as well. The hallways are kinda stinky in a cleaner/perfume way, but everything else was lovely, and I would happily stay again.

The location was pefect and the staff - all the staff - were very welcoming and helpful.
