Umami Hotel - Adults Only

"The staff were very nice. Normal check-in, towel service and check-out. Breakfast was good but could have been better if we were also offered juice. We were able to leave our luggage in the office and hang out by the pool after check-out till our shuttle arrived and had a great drink from the bar. Everything was good/normal about this place. The one bad thing was that the room smelled like sewer. There was an air freshener in the room that went off every 30 minutes or so but I'm pretty sure it was empty. We only stayed one night. The room was quite small and the shower was in the open - weird setup for room to sleep 3 people? The pool looked nice. I didn't appreciate how on our railings there was a sign not to hang clothes, but people who stayed in the room with the day bed facing the pool had their clothes out and ruined the vibe."

The not so nice is that little jobo fruits fall on the roof all day and all night, it’s loud and tedious. The path to the beach is so so and the property could use some maintenance. The gate gave us trouble and the dishwasher. Overall great for families, just know you’ll be listening to thunk sounds at night very loud"
