You get what you pay for
I thought it would be nice to stay in 5th ave were all the action was. Don't do it. It's very loud with bands playing and people partying all hours of the night. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I didn't have hot water most of my stay but overall you get what you pay for at $32 a night.

fine as one night crash pad en route to airport
if you need a one night crash pad en route to airport, this is fine. Noisy at night - so best if you are NOT planning to spend much time in the room (or don't mind noise if you do!). Air con and wifi are good, fridge is a bonus, no where next to bed to charge phones etc, no where in shower to put soap etc. No lift so if you have lots of luggage a 300 or 400 room is not ideal.... Staff seem largely disinterested. No furniture on balcony and only one chair in the room to potentially move out there.

VERY basic
After I told the manager I couldn't walk up and down to the 4th fl. every time I wanted to access my room (no elevators) because of my age, they found me a 2nd-fl room. No safe, no fridge, and the door was sliding frosted glass, so all the light from the corridor and shadows of people walking by poured in all night. There are zero amenities of any sort. The wi-fi worked occasionally, and when I went to check out there was no reception staff to be found. The only real positive was there WAS sufficient hot water.

Perfect spot
Lot of noise but in perfect spot. Would have loved if there was at least a piece of bread and coffee for breakfast,because trips are very early and stores still closed. Staff very nice and helpful. Very comfortable bed. Need hot water for shower

El hotel es excelente, mi viaje fue el BPM festival y la ubicación es excepcional me quedaba cerca de todo y el precio increíble por se playa del Carmen, claro. El servicio es excelente, por parte de las personas de limpieza, el personal de recepción es bueno pero no excelente y menos la persona que está en el turno nocturno, es muy despota, pero el hotel cumple con el objetivo, sin duda volvería.

Good hotel for the money; noisy night life
The hotel itself was pleasant and clean. The staff were super courteous and helpful. I did not have my partner with me or we may have had to change hotels because of the loud music. I was solo this trip so this was perfect for my budget when I wasn't going to be spending much time in a hotel room. You need to take your earplugs with you since the night life is noisy.(Apparently the office does give them out free of charge!) Many bars and establishments in local area and the bands start at 11 pm and don't finish until 2 am.

Hotel solo para unos dias!!
El hotel estuvo ideal para nosotros, ya que tiene excelente ubicación y como no estuvimos todo el dia y solo fue para dormir, estuvo muy bien, habitaciones limpias, si es viejo, ya que las camas no son comodisimas, pero cumplió con lo que buscabamos.

DONT STAY HERE!
Dont stay here even that is on 5 th av the place is nasty, the blankets are very old ready to throw to the garbage, is very dirty, very insecure, practicly usless! No elevator , very small we pay 68 dlls here it was 45 dlls there so no dont stay!
