This was our second time at the St. Regis Kanai (we went last year as well), and it was excellent yet again. The rooms are gorgeous, very spacious, and very clean. The butler service is stellar (Rafael and Dali are top-notch) and all the staff is wonderful. All are very polite, friendly, and professional. The food delicious (Toro is our favourite) The pools are so beautiful (there is one adult only pool, but we did not visit it) It is a family friendly resort, so there were children around the pools. All were very well behaved. Only negative is the price of wine. Very, very expensive. So much so that we only ordered one glass of wine the whole week; a rose given it was the least costly of all the wines. Beer prices were very reasonable and cocktails (very delicious) were on par with prices found in high end city restaurants and cocktail bars. It is an absolutely incredible resort that is perfect for a special occasion trip.

Staff exceptionally kind and helpful. Grounds and architecture beautiful. Architecture also results in forever walks anywhere.We are walkers. Food is wonderful. Downside is everything is crazy expensive and nothing complimentary even room water. Two small yogurts and a small sandwich is USD 50 with tip. Room light switches are insanely bad. Almost empty most the week and beach crowded with workers. No room upgrade despite an empty building. Elevators so dark it’s creepy. Despite the wonderful staff and architecture I would never recommend this hotel especially given the 5 star price.

The beach is stunning, and the service was top-notch without feeling pushy. My room had incredible views of the ocean and mangroves. The food was also fantastic, with plenty of delicious options. Overall, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Riviera Maya.

Beautiful new hotel

I Never write hotel reviews... but my stay this time was exceptional so here it goes. The hotel is new and well integrated into the mangroves by keeping a large portion of the forest intact. You can often see a wild animal walk by. The hotel itself was only open in 2022 and is beautiful in every way. Restaurants are great, and the beach and the pools are beautiful, warm, and pleasant. I will try to come back one day.
