"The property was beautiful! There were quite a few gnats when we arrived but other than that everything was perfect."

"Firstly we landed early. I tried to get an early check in and there was impossible. The room was indeed ready but still they made us wait until 4pm on the dot. When we finally got to our room there was no cold water. My boyfriend actually burned his hand with the boiling hot shower water. The front desk only suggestion was to give a refund (where else were we going to find a place to stay at with such short notice ) or change our room to the other building with no balcony or ocean view like I paid for. We settled for the new room. After 24 hrs , the “upgraded” room experienced problems. There was now no hot water and the WiFi and ac stopped working. There was one female front desk clerk that was very helpful. She kept us updated via WhatsApp. As far as the gentlemen he wasn’t so helpful. Didn’t communicate at all. Once we came back to our room late that night the problem still wasn’t solved. My boyfriend had to go downstairs and speak with the security and the security had to check behind the desk for a spare key for an emergency room for us. So throughout the whole trip we have to change rooms 3 times."

"Just an amazing experience. it was our Sonesta property since our honeymoon 36 years ago in Bermuda. We spent 3 nights/4 days of sunshine rest and relaxation celebrating a birthday and retirement. The Jr King suite was perfect and we’ve never experienced the degree of kindness and helpfulness from a hotel staff in all of our journeys. Sheryl kept us laughing as the mixologist at the pool, Dominique was our server at both Fontana and Portofino and was the happiest person. She made both of those dining experiences extra special. Jonathan took care of us at our last breakfast at Azul and was so nice as well. Honestly, everyone at the resort was friendly and cheerful. We will return!"

"This was a once-in-lifetime family vacation with family traveling from 2 states. The ocean side deck was next to club's sewage processing causing odor at times. While we did get a few lighbulbs, many lamps with no light bulbs, some lamps had French plug-in, not matching electrical receptacles making them unuseable. 1 bedroom toilet was jerey-rigged requiring pulling a cord from hole in wall to flush. Very poor pre-check-in communication - after repeated attempts, needed to get Expedia involved to get response with check-in coordinator. Listing stated we were to be greeted by check-in coordinator inc. welcome drink - never met/saw her during entire stay. Elevator broke, making it difficult/dangerous to get luggage up steep and narrow, outdoor stairway. While we figured it out, no instructions on operating electric blinds remote. Mid stay, construction began on property roadway on ocean side of our unit made it impossible to enjoy the large deck. On the positive, entry guards very friendly. Spacious 3BR unit, great AC, pool and Sint Maarten location and beach."

"Everything was super clean and nice. The only issue was that I didn’t expect the room to have no electrical outlets near the bed or the couch, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great. The breakfast was delicious, the pool was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel."
