"Great location. Rooms are on the smaller side, but efficient and clean. Check in was a breeze. Friendly and helpful staff."

"The hostel was clean. Keep in mind it is a very old building but it was clean. We had a bunk bed room and it was amazingly small. The area felt very safe. We walked around at night and it still felt safe. Easy fourth mile walk to subway and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go in Manhattan. The staff were very nice and helpful."

"I had a fantastic time up there, it was well center and pretty close to everything around the area, a great bargain for your buck especially around that area when most hotel were going for $500 a night, close to the memorial site for 9/11, the bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious, clean and smelled good, the gym was well equipped and functioning, the coffee machine in the lobby was amazing, and the views outside the one40 restaurant were incredible, the staffs were friendly and willingly to help, especially Arden, she really went above and beyond to help make sure we were comfortable and provide all the necessary information that we needed, and Solomon as well, I will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Manhattan New York."
