The front desk clerk came banging on our door at 9:00, demanding to speak to us. They accused us of smoking pot in our room and threatened to call the cops. When I put on a towel and opened the door, she ranted about having problems with people smoking pot in the hotel. We do not smoke, and definitely were not smoking in the room. I told her to go ahead and call the cops! She then started backpedaling and said they have had a lot of problems people smoking in the rooms. I told her that wasn't my problem, and harassing every client in the hotel wasn't the way to go. Next time, just get the cops and the drug dog in there if the hotel is having such a problem. Also of note: Cardboard thin pillows, blankets with holes all over them, clearly needed replaced. Adjacent rooms very noisy. On the plus side, the hotel is very close to the freeway exit.

It was a pretty good stay. Bed was comfortable enough, and everything was quiet enough. Only thing i would change is maybe a few additional breakfast options. I've stayed other places for more, that were worse, though.

Hotel and staff were great! Love that they permit pets but the rooms are very clean, neat and comfortable with clean carpets, new appliances and large beautiful photos of mountain scenes. The area immediately around the hotel is pretty much pavement but it is fairly quiet and within easy walking distance of grocery store, restaurants and fast food as well.
