"It was a lovely stay at a great location for our purposes in this visit to Philadelphia. The proximity of the beginning of the SEPTA 48 bus route to the hotel was a perfect gateway to our sightseeing without a car. The only disappointment was the absence of a fully accessible entry to the hotel (i.e. no ramp to the entry door). There were only four steps, but with my compromised leg strength and balance, I had to struggle to move from the sidewalk into the lobby."

"This is a very old hotel. Hallways smell and the air conditioning does not work well. Rooms are a good size but in need of an update. The location. Is good but overall I would not go back."

"The Morris House is a quaint and lovely place to stay in Old City Philadelphia. The Historic District is right there. It is convenient to the Italian Market, the Waterfront, and the Gayborhood. Rittenhouse Square is not too much of a walk. Museum Row is a bit of a hike, but doable if you want to walk it. All the rooms are a decent size. The bathrooms are large; ours had a shower and separate soaking tub. The amenities are adequate, but what you might expect from a structure built in the 18th...
