Amazing! Leave at least 2 hours for this, more if possible. It’s huge and there’s so much to see.
Start at the end of the park where there are public buildings. Otherwise, you'll be bogged down in street after street of homes, which are little more than stone walls.
Book a small group tour with an archeologist
We hired a guide which was extremely helpful (did in advance). The amount of information and sites to see easily took up our 1.5 hour of time - we could have been there longer but it was mind boggling.
The place is crawling with tour groups. So expect crowds. Bring an umbrella for the sun if you're sensitive. It can be very hot in the warm months. Carry water to stay hydrated. Wear comfortable shoes with non-slip soles. You'll be walking on cobblestones.
