The worst stay for the money I paid and expected.
Driver was not provided a common bath room for drivers. They were asked to use the security rest rooms. In the rooms there is a persisting stinking smell throughout. In spite of changing the rooms also the stink was everywhere.
People planning to visit Auroville only come there and they do not want to raise a complaint about it.
Please do not encourage booking in this Hotel to your guests. You will lose your reputation

Quiet location away from hustle and bustle
If this is your first stay in India as a westerner you may be disappointed somewhat but as a frequent traveller, this is on the top end fo the price. Beautiful pool and surrounds, basic breakfast but ok, hard bed and pillows but I really enjoyed my stay and would be back. A little out of town but only 8km with easy access to taxis and autos. 3hrs for inr500. There are also awesome eateries in the French district near beach, Le chateau and the promenade if you need a break from the indian spice....a really nice few days away.
