Great hotel in a great location. Finding the hotel using google maps is a challenge. Once you figure out parking it is easy(ask for guidance at front desk). Great breakfast buffet. Would definitely return.

Hotel Verde Mar is a lovely hotel situated right on the seafront in Ribeira Grande. The staff were courteous, pleasant, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean — and it’s definitely worth booking one with a sea view, as it includes a lovely outdoor sitting area with a table and chairs. The hotel itself is large, with plenty of comfortable communal areas to sit back and relax. The spa is also very nice and adds to the overall experience. The restaurant and breakfast area are bright and airy, with large windows offering beautiful sea views. There was a great variety of food at breakfast, though it was occasionally slow to be replenished, and a couple of times I had to ask for plates and cups. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay, with beautiful views and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and attentive to making our stay pleasant . The room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was a nice display and a good variety of options
