The single bed room that I stay in was very small. I cycle tour and after putting my bicycle in the room, can only walk from bed to toilet and to main door, around 4 foot step:) I do appreciate the hotel staff for letting me squeeze in my bicycle into the room. Hotel is located at above ground floor so have to carry bicycle up to hotel lobby, info for cycle tourer.

Fantastic getaway to a little town ....

It was a very comfy stay .This was already our 2nd time in six months. Only a little set back is that the bathroom have a big window that it seems that people can look in especially at night as we can look out .

The room and toilet has a funky and musty odor. The whole area is very tiny with limited walking space. Need to walk up stairs. Very inconvenient for people with luggage and stroller. Especially for pregnant women like me.

Receptionists wasn't friendly attend to customer. We checked in for 4D3N. On the third day, we received call from the hotel saying that we were late check out and requested we check out immediately. We showed our disappointment to the Receptionists who in charge for customer check in and proven our booking detail. However the Receptionists still request we check out immediately due to the room is with another booking for the room we stayed. After few rounds of aarguement and waiting, the Receptionists finally extended our room card access. The way of the Receptionists treated us was bad. Insisting us to check out even though proven our booking validation.

Staff were unhelpful and rude

Many stairs, not suitable for elderly people and kids. My room was the biggest room with sea-view located at third floor. The room was dusty, lots of spider webs, dirty carpet. Staff were not helpful. The woman at the counter did not want to help me carrying my luggage (about 3kg) when I had to carry my baby, no hands to carry my luggage. Waited for a long time to check-in. Strongly suggest owners of the hotel to train your staff. Ask them to work efficiently, politely and be more helpful. Please tell the Malay woman who worked on 29/9 (Sunday) morning, she is working in service industry. If she doesn't know how to work in hotel line, please get another job.

Nice hotel close to chinese seafood restaurant

Everything is good, bed is not too hard not too soft, blanket surprisingly comfort, pillow thickness just nice, room also clean, free flow of cold and hot water at their lobby, toilet is clean and modern.. but the only thing is, take note not to take room at the back near to their aircond compressors, it will be very noisy at night..

Location is near the beach, but honestly did not have the time to explore further. Room is small, but it is still alright. Only thing that turns me off is that pillow was not clean! I chanced upon that there were people's hair sucked on the pillow, and they just put a disposable pillow case over the pillow. very unhygienic

SHORT BREAK

We stayed in suite room with seaview. Great location for seafood by the sea and supermarket is a plus. Will be good if hotel provides breakfast as it doesnt have much food choice during breakfast. Hotel should provide another layer of lace curtain in room as we need to draw the blackout curtains whenever we are in the room to prevent others from looking through the windows which necessary means no seaview at all.

Its a very good service when hotel called me for confirmation due to my late check in. Room was upgraded. However, toilet has some bad odour. The hot water is not consistence. The stay would be great if they can improve the toilet.

it is good. room is clean but small room. no fridge in the room, no writing desk. the bed frame is make from wooden pallet, firm and unique.

Not for claustrophobic, but room is clean

The room was extremely small, which comes as a surprise as we wouldn't think Pontian has problem with space. The bathroom is especially small, you basically have to shower over the toilet. There is also no window in the room. The decoration is quite nice, but the room is equipped only minimally (and is sufficiently clean). Walking by the shore outside the hotel is quite nice.

Painless, clean and friendly newly decorated hotel

Painless, clean and friendly newly decorated hotel in small town. Happy to look after my bike when I stayed. Cheaper room had no window - request window room if that bothers you. Noise insulation not fantastic.
