"Upon reading some of the negative reviews of this hotel I was little sceptical, however, when we arrived I was very pleasantly pleased. The facility was clean and the staff was very welcoming. Weekend away!!!
"Weekend trip with friends, had unit 6&5 that was connected by the private balcony. Weather was beautiful and after visiting a nearby winery for a tasting and lunch we walked around downtown!!! Did some axe throwing and bar hoping!!! Only complaint is shower water pressure."

Would have liked to stay a little while longer to explore the surrounding areas since this hotel was right on the lake but we had to be in another town in the morning.

Many restaurants and shops were already closed for the season in October. We went to the African Safari park. There were some big animals with horns and hooves that scratched up our car a bit. Should have brought an older car or rental.
