This hotel provided exactly as advertised. Location let us walk to the waterfront and back which was about 20 minutes each way. The staff were super helpful and offered arrangements for a tour of the island as well as exchanging currency for us. The breakfast was fairly basic but delicious and efficient. Great location located across from the famous Champ de Mars racetrack, (horses). Nice open space across from hotel, the racetrack central area has been turned into a recreation spot in an otherwise built up central city. Breakfast available on site in addition to other drinks during the day. (We had nice cold beers).

The hotel is very old and dated. It really needs a refit not very well located unless you’re going to the racecourse it’s at least 20 minute walk to town which we were advised wasn’t very safe Breakfast was just a half cooked omelette and a few pieces of fruit and a bit of baguette The staff was helpful and friendly

Good location overlooking the racecourse & a 25min walk to Caudan. Rooms OK for 1 or 2 nights but rough round the edges & in need of some TLC. However, AC worked well. Staff all very amenable. Good value and would use again for short stays in Port Louis.

Le Champ des Mars is a nice B&B. Simple and straightforward. The staff are all good - from check in, breakfast, and housekeeping. It's still central, nice quiet street for the weekend. For people who are working, there's a functional working table in the room or maybe you can also use the dining area. Internet had no problem. Overall, very good.
