โOh my gosh, the room smelled so bad with some kind of artificial sprays; maybe to sanitize and to kill bugs?! There are some dust on furniture and all over the area. May be it was not properly cleaned.. The worst thing was that I slept with some cockroaches in the room..
Never go there again... Very disappointed about Cleanliness.โ
โI loved this hotel. Such an interesting history. It is located in convenient walking distance to downtown. The interior is decorated beautifully in the art deco style. From the crisp cotton sheets to the high ceilings itโs all lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. โ
โSince 2023, weโve been coming back to Kernville annually. Whispering Pines Lodge is the only place we considered staying at. Weโve travelled to many places, stayed at various hotels/inns/cottages but never stayed in the same place 2x except at Whispering Pines Lodge. Itโs like home away from home, a sanctuary when we want to decompress and just relax. โ
โEverything was great. Very clean. Fairly new or renovated. The price was excellent. This place is real good when compared to other motels in the same price range. Lots of food options and a big supermarket steps away.โ
โWe requested a room facing away from the freeway and we were wonderfully accommodated. It was very quiet, rooms were clean but need a bit of updates aesthetically. The bed had some lumps but overall was very comfortable. Love the fluffy towels! โ
