Convenient and away from the tourist crowds

The apartment is very comfortable and conveniently located, a few steps from the metro station, but walkable (about 40 minutes) to the centre or the University (which is where I needed to do everyday). I was received with a bottle of Douro valley wine and biscuits, a lovely detail! would definitely recommend staying here.

The communication with Expedia has been terrible. It turned out that they had not charged me for 6€ local taxes and asked me to pass by their office on my arrival. It took me several calls to get the access code number to the room but when I finally arrived there, I found out that the code was wrong. While the room was clean and well equipped, it was in a basement, which means you could not open the only two windows because they were on the street level so fumes and dirt would come in. People would have easy access too. The whole building was also enveloped in a very bad smell.

This property was just fine, however, it was not a hotel, despite having the word in the name. So, there was no front desk or concierge to check my luggage. I had to wait until 4 pm to get into my room. So, I had to burn a day of my vacation waiting with all my luggage.

Die Wohnung war bei der ankunft sauber. Sie ist genütlich und für 4 Personen auch groß genug. Der kleine Balkon reicht vollkommen aus um seinen Cafe morgens oder abends einen Wein zu trinken. Besteck, Geschirr und zum Kochen für den Aufenthalt waren für 4 Personen vorhanden. Waschmaschine ist auch im unterem Bereich. Gleich gegebüber ist die Metro und vor der Tür die Bushaltestelle. Wir hatten 14 Tage einen super Aufenthalt. Ich mache nur ein minus Punkt für den Esstisch da der bald auseinander fällt. Man hatte angst seinen Teller abzustellen. Wir hatten uns eine. Besen gekauft, da man bei einem längeren Aufenthalt keine möglichkeiten vorhanden waren um mal den eigenenen Dreck weg zu machen. Ansonsten kann ich es weiterempfehlen.
