Top hotel

We were in this hotel for the second time and it was again amazing. I was surprised by the great service and food which I had forgotten - or the level even increased. Many of the staff who was there during our last visit (3y ago) was still there, which is always a good sign. Top management, super friendly and caring staff. Nice rooms, large & clean gym with top coaches. Many possibilities to relax at beaches or pool areas - can only recommend the place! We will be back!

A stunning hotel with exceptional service and truly 5* food and drink. Although the rooms and some of the facilities are a little dated, please do not let this put you off as it is an absolutely incredible resort and the staff, pool/beach and dining options are impeccable. Could not recommend the all inclusive option more highly, it is fantastic value for money given the quality of food, drinks and activities on offer. We will definitely be back in the future!

If you like privacy and being surrounded by pristine nature then this hotel is for you. The villas on stilts are exclusive to the resort in Mauritius, and offer a unique and unforgettable experience. Will come back in a heartbeat.

Excellent resort. Our villa (on stilts) was quiet, had all the expected amenities and more, and overlooked the lake, although the boardwalk did have a significant people drifting passed, particularly to the restaurant. Food excellent; staff very helpful. Wine expensive. Was given a villa to stay after check-out before a late airport departure, very much appreciated. 2 minor concerns: our villa was always cleaned late (after 2pm) which meant we had to wait before going back there after lunch. The food service on the anniversary night was random (very fast then very slow, then no bill!). Other nights it was fine. Overall very pleasant stay and thoroughly enjoyable.

If you’re dreaming of paradise, look no further than Constance Prince Maurice in Mauritius — an absolute gem that somehow manages to be both incredibly luxurious and completely relaxed. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, thoughtful and genuine. Every detail was taken care of, and nothing was too much trouble. The food? Out of this world. Fresh seafood, fragrant curries, the best breakfast spread I’ve seen (and I take my breakfasts very seriously). But what truly set it apart for us was the kids club. Our 8-year-old was in heaven — from cooking classes to beach treasure hunts and movie nights, he was constantly buzzing with excitement. It gave us time to truly unwind, knowing he was happy and safe with the loveliest team who made him feel like royalty. Constance Prince Maurice gave us the perfect end to our big family adventure — calm, beauty, and memories we’ll never forget. Already dreaming of going back.

Sweet end to our Honeymoon.

Short but sweet! We moved to Constance Prince Maurice for the last two nights of our honeymoon after staying at the Sands Suites and being disappointed. It’s a beautiful resort with so much to do. A great sized gym and spa. Any room you stay in has a gorgeous view. Boutique shops. The food was delicious and the restaurants service was top notch. Loved the idea of the floating restaurant but it actually gave me a bit of motion sickness but that’s just me. Our first room the aircon wasn’t cooling down to the 18.5C so we were given a room to sleep in but then woken early by cleaners entering that room obviously unaware it was occupied. We were then moved to a villa for our last night, Which was lovely. We would definitely come back. We were on our honeymoon and this hotel allowed children but that didn’t affect our stay whatsoever. There is a great kids club and a babysitting service too. Overall a lovely end to our honeymoon.

I recently stayed at Constance Prince Maurice during my honeymoon, and it was incredibly disappointing. We arrived in Mauritius at 12:30 PM and reached the hotel by 3 PM, starving after our last meal at 11 AM on the plane. Expecting to grab a bite at this five-star hotel, our request for food was refused. The kitchen closed at 6 PM, and a staff member rudely told us to "go eat something in your room." This service is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. After insisting on speaking to the manager, we were seated away from other diners, which felt isolating. Despite our complaints, we were convinced to stay, hoping for improvement. The next day, after visiting a nature park, we returned around 5 PM to relax by the pool, expecting a peaceful evening. However, at 7 PM, we were told to leave because the pool was closing for cleaning, though no cleaning was happening. Our moment was shattered, and we were told that if we didn’t like the rules, we should leave. Feeling stranded, we decided to check out. The staff argued that they had our money and wouldn’t let us leave, showing little regard for our situation. With limited funds after our wedding, we felt trapped. We had to find another hotel at 11:30 PM, settling for a lower-rated place. Our honeymoon was ruined by this lack of hospitality. I advise against staying at Constance Prince Maurice. They showed a complete lack of care and left us to fend for ourselves in a foreign country. Choose a hotel that values its guests.
