“The room was clean although there were ants crawling around. We were led to beleive the restaurant was open as the promotional info claimed they served cajun style food. When we arrived, it turnes out the restaurant hasnt even been built yet and there was also alot of construction going on daily.”

One employee was sifting down and on his phone the entire time, did not come to take my order - when I even got up to ask him to order, he still didn’t get up to help me and I had to go up to the bar. There are 2 restaurants-bars on the property that are totally overpriced (5-star hotel prices for a 3-star plus hotel). The staff is nice and the amenities are good. The pool is small and not really clean. ”

The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because I felt the pictures on Expedia of all the greenery and trees surrounding the rooms isn't what it looked like in real life - maybe that's on me for the season we booked a stay (?) but we weren't up among the trees like I expected from the pics, more a stay on a hilltop.
