“Lovely and unique stay surrounded by nature! Front desk staff was very helpful, but restaurant staff were not very attentive. One employee was sifting down and on his phone the entire time, did not come to take my order - when I even got up to ask him to order, he still didn’t get up to help me and I had to go up to the bar. Was not very friendly. ”

“Nice small hotel with black sand beach with gorgeous sunset and colors. The rooms are nice and large surrounding a mini jungle with nice trees and flowers. There are 2 restaurants-bars on the property that are totally overpriced (5-star hotel prices for a 3-star plus hotel). The staff is nice and the amenities are good. The pool is small and not really clean. ”

“I highly recommend Z102 Studios. The property was beautiful, spacious, and even better than the photos. We had a great stay! The property was super clean and well-equipped. We stayed as a family with two kids. The space felt very private and quiet, and the pool was perfect! The host was also very accommodating and allowed us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. We were so happy with our stay!”

“The room was clean although there were ants crawling around. We were led to beleive the restaurant was open as the promotional info claimed they served cajun style food. When we arrived, it turnes out the restaurant hasnt even been built yet and there was also alot of construction going on daily.”

“Great pool, nice spot. Small things like no dish-wash soap or dish-sponge etc (when only there for a few days and asked to keep all kitchen items clean etc). Asked for extra towels for pool which were provided & were great. 10min walk to beach / bakery / cafe / sodas. 2 min walk to grocery store. On a busy road. ”

“All was great . Margaritas at happy hour superb. Great hamburger we split and had by the pool. Enjoyed breakfast at 6 a.m. Convenient location to the airport with very nice shuttle driver. Very close to Adobe car rental as well. 100% on all staff at restaurant, hotels, tours The Costa Ricans are charming. ”

“Food was very good. The room was huge and immaculate, the king bed was comfy. We used the fitness room which was adequate and the pool was great. Drinks and supper at poolside was lovely.”

“This resort is excellent for families with smaller children. Special activities for all ages, rooms are close to the pool and beach. Definitely recommend a room with a balcony as I found the rooms without were very dark and not great lighting. Food was good. Sometimes service is slow, but just ask and you’ll get what you want. Entertainment every night. Karaoke was a fun night for the family, young and old. Beach is beautiful and not too busy. Huge waves so just be aware of your surroundings....

The entire staff from the front desk, wait staff, bartenders, cleaning crew, were all so welcoming, helpful and truly nice people. The resort is very peaceful and not overcrowded. The food and drinks were great. Our room was very clean and kept that way by maid service. Our family had a great time and can’t wait to go back”
