โWe havenโt been in an HI hostel in a long time (in our 70s) but were very happy with our overnight stay in HI Aveiro.
Staff were lovely, the room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. We walked to it from the bus station via the beautiful park. Not many eateries in the immediate neighbourhood (apart from a McDonalds almost opposite) but only 15 minutes on foot to the many restaurants/cafes in the town centre. โ
โWe had our dog with and he got a box of dogfood which he enjoyed a lot!
The restaurant was good but expensive.
The room with terass and a water view very lovely. Very queit and nice hotel!โ
โGood hotel with good price.
I enjoyed my staying here alone.
However, the sink drain of bathtub was not so fast enough.
Also it was little bit tricky to find the way to the hotel.
Except these, it was definitely good hotel to short stay.

โComplicated self check-in with several security codes. No one on site to assist. Local phone number not helpful for international travelers. Worst is the smell of the rooms... musty, basement rooms... left window open, blew fan AC all night which made it slightly better. Would NOT recommend. โ
