"A great hotel that’s ideally located a few minutes walk from the centre of Paraty. Great rooms, breakfast and communal areas. It’s also just a few minutes walk away from the beach with a lot of bars and restaurants. My only criticism is the WiFi which was very slow and would be a challenge if you needed to work. "

"The hotel was a dream! The incredible view, the cleanness, the super nice staff, the delicious breakfast, the delicate decoration. BUT, the rooms have no glass windows, just shutters. Our room (one of the most expensive ones, with partial sea view) which was just above the kitchen and was super noisy. We were waked up every morning by the sound of dishes and cutlery. We found ear plugs on our room, but for the category of this hotel and the price you pay, frankly this is not what you would expect. "

"The room and location exceeded my expectations! Excellent air conditioning and water pressure in the shower. The beach and lively restaurants/bars are right across the road. I could hear the ocean from my room. The town center is just a 12-13 minute walk from the room. I will be staying here again in the future! Marcus the owner is very attentive and an excellent communicator. Silvana was cheery, welcoming and very helpful in helping me to get settled in when I first arrived. "

"I received a WhatsApp message from the property on the day of my arrival, which has conveniently been deleted, stating that the property didn't have a room available. I didn't see the message until I arrived at the property, but it had asked me to go to another property that cost less, had a less ideal location, and lower reviews. At arrival, they then put my friend and I in a room with one bed that was tiny, *absolutely disgusting*, and was not in the main building. The manager, without prompting, offered to refund this night, which I politely accepted. The next day, we got moved to the correct room, but it did not have any hot water for a shower, so we got moved AGAIN, to another lower quality room without a balcony. One out of the two beds was rock hard so my friend and I ended up having to share a bed. Several days after my stay no refund was issued so I reached out to Hotels.com and the property denied the refund and deleted their WhatsApp message. I've never left a bad review or complained to any service provider before, but this was a terrible experience."
