Beautiful..................

Excellent service and staff was great. The only complaint that I had and it wasn't just this hotel, but beds were very hard. Beautiful ocean and beach just steps from the rooms

Die Unterkunft wirkt alt und sollte dringend Renoviert werden! Strom (zb Aufladen Handy) funktioniert nur wenn das Licht eingeschaltet ist. Warmes Wasser in der Dusche was sehr selten. Einmal hat die Reinigungskraft vergessen unser Zimmer abzuschließen. Das Essen war zwar okay, jedoch nicht so viel zur Auswahl. Der Service war an sich okay. Die Menschen und Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett. Das größte Positive an dem Strand ist die Menschenleere am wunderschönen Strand.

Too expensive for what it is

The location is great, the rooms were comfortable and clean, but the waterfront could use some maintenance (washed up debris and old tires). The swim up bar was closed during our entire stay. The food at the restaurant is school dining hall style, very average. We expected more for the amount of money we spent.

Poderia ter sido melhor

Contratei meia pensão e tanto no café como na janta sempre na última hora de atendimento não tinham alguns itens oferecidos e não eram mais repostos. Chegou um dia, na meia hora final eu conseguir apenas uma fatia de pão no café da manhã e nem manteiga. De forma geral a experiência com a alimentação foi horrível. Outra coisa é que nos 3 dias que fiquei hospedado, apenas no último a piscina estava aberta, o hotel colocou a culpa em hóspedes com protetor solar. Nestes dias ainda o mar estava com algum tipo de água viva.

decepción

debo referir que acostumbrado a viajar 3 veces por año al caribe me decepcionó. tuve informaciones previas de su belleza natural (que comparto) de la calidad de la mayoria de la gente (que comparto) pero fui abonando previamente con documentación que avalaba la presencia de wifi- aire acondicionado- habitación standart y regimen de desayuno y cena. realmente mas haya de la candidez y ampatia del personal el desayuno era escueto y la cena era de comida regional y sin expendio de bebidas alcohólicas ( eran pagas) y eso no figuraba en la página web. el agua caliente en el baño NUNCA EXISTIÓ, y para verano estamos bien pero en esta época y con lluvia continua durante 8 dias se transformo en INDISPENSABLE. eso tampoco figuraba en la página web. con sol era hermosa según las fotos, con lluvia se hizo intolerable, sumado a que el servicio de cable (única diversión) era pésimo. NO REPETIRIA ESTE VIAJE.

One of the better hotels on Providencia

Sol de Caribe offers clean rooms, comfortable beds, wifi and breakfast and dinner were included in our package. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel. The purpose of a trip to Providencia is to explore the beautiful beaches. Food is definitely a disappointment on Providencia. A scarcity of fresh fruit and vegetables! Fish and fried plantain get boring after awhile. The staff at Sol Caribe helped us to arrange a gokf cart for transportation along with our hiking, snorkeling, scuba excursions. Stay was pleasant!

Bom hotel para ficar em Providência

Providência é uma pequena ilha, todos os hotéis seguem um padrão mais simples, o Sol Caribe Providência tem um excelente atendimento, o quarto é bem agradável porém como todos os outros hotéis da ilha (inclusive conversando com hóspedes de outros hotéis) não existe água efetivamente quente no chuveiro, tirando essa questão o hotel é bem agradável, a localização é ótima (próximo a dois bons dive centers) e de um mercado, inclusive os valores dos produtos no hotel são igual ou no máximo próximos ao do mercado, então compensa comprar no próprio hotel pela comodidade (apesar do mercado ser realmente bem próximo)

Hotel NO recomendable

Es la zona de la isla con más mosquitos (área de manglares y agua dulce estancada). Contraté este hotel por su piscina y su acceso a la playa. La piscina estuvo fuera de servicio toda la semana (nadie nos explicó por qué) y el acceso a la playa es muy malo. Hay que ir a la playa del hotel de al lado que, por cierto, tiene el fondo lleno de basura. Se supone que es un lugar para relajarse pero mantienen música a alto volumen hasta tarde en el área de la (inservible) piscina, afectando las habitaciones. La mejor actividad en este lugar (ver la TV en la habitación) no era posible por esa música. La comida escasa, repetitiva y mala. Teníamos media pensión pero la mitad de los días cenamos fuera. Wifi solo en el lobby y realmente inservible aunque pienso que no debe haber buen wifi en ningún lugar de la isla. Providencia es una maravilla pero tuvimos que alquilar un motocarro para poder ir a otros lugares. Ningún día nos quedamos en el área del hotel.

Bom para o padrão da ilha

Hotel bom. Staff atencioso e cordial. As refeições poderiam ser melhor, no entanto, boas para o padrão da ilha. Parte do quarto é de alvenaria. Ótimo ar condicionado. Chuveiro quente.

hotel muy simple en una zona hotelera con restaurant, arriendo de motos, buceo y otras actividades. al frente hay un supermercado. El wifi es lentisimo y se cae todo el tiempo. nunca tuvimos agua caliente en las 4 noches que estuvimos. La comida es simple pero sabrosa y bien preparada. Lo que es inaceptable es la presencia de perros vagos en el restaurant todo el tiempo. sin embargo se pasa bien, es entretenido las actividades que uno puede hacer, arrendar una moto es muy entretenido y barato ( unos US$ 20 el dia). Esta el centro de Buceo de Felipe a unos pasos, muy bueno
