Welcomed warmly by Mhary and wish everyone else in that resort is like her. Definitely NOT the front desk lady I saw on my second day (on Monday, PH time) there (when Mhary was on her day off). Cleaning staff are both nice and really very good at their job. I did not try diving with this resort but I snorkeled on my own and it was very good. I did visit the other twin resort and it was a delight. All in all, very good value and a good experience.

Der check in und Service ist gut, freundlich und verlief alles reibungslos. Wir konnten leider erst am nächsten Morgen als geplant und gebucht anreisen, weil wir die letzte Fähre am Abend verpasst haben. Das Zimmer und die Bettina waren komfortabel. Es gab eine Klimaanlage als auch einen Ventilator im Zimmer. White Beach und Sabang sind mit den Tricycles in ca 15 min zu erreichen. Der Restaurantbereich des Hotels hat einen schönen Blick aufs Wasser.

The reception and restoration shuts down early- becomes a ghost town... ca't even find a place to make phone calls home with the lights on. Cheap rooms, nice people, located right at the pier for the ferry in town.

Great view and diving!

The resort is in a good position near the pier literally a two minute walk on sealed walkway. Check in was quite disappointing, which was supposed to be at 1pm but was told other guests still had their things in the room, had gone out and were yet to return. I didn't get into the room until 1:40pm. It's cool that they seem to be relaxed about when some people check out but it's not very cool if that impacts arriving guests. At most hotels I've stayed I'm pretty sure they are knocking at the door or phoning if you overstay 5 minutes! The room on the top floor has a nice view of the harbour and a seat and table on the balcony walkway. The room is in OK condition, could probably do with some refurbishment. The aircon was quite noisy and lighting could be better. Bed is adequate but not over comfortable. The restaurant has a nice view on the water with fairly good, reasonably priced food and generally pleasant staff. Only did two dives (one trip) but the operation seems to be run professionally and safely. Only had a short stay but I'd definitely stay here again particularly if diving.

Great diving

Stayed here Feb/17. The second time I've been here and will be back. Quiet and laid back resort with basic rooms. The prices are unbeateable for the room view of Puerto Galera bay. Dive team is second to none, a real pleasure to dive with. Exiting the water is a breeze with them. Equipement is in good condition. Giant clams a hi-light to see and all kinds of micro species. Will detour whenever I am in the Philippines to stay here in the future

False advertising

The advertising is false, there is no pool, no WiFi, one staff member that never leaves the closet office and no blankets. Never stay here. The place should not receive a star rating above 2.

Fantastico!

Even though we initially booked through the Dive resort, this review is for the Beach resort. Since construction was taking place at the Dive resort, the staff asked if we would like to move to the Beach resort instead; therefore we did the following day. Staying here would have been fine too, but we were looking for a bit of quiet if we were going to be at the hotel. Once we got to the other location, the grounds and staff were great, and there's an amazing beachfront to the property as well. The rooms were clean, and the food was great as well. All in all they offered a great space/environment，and the price was right. I would definitely stay here again. Kudos to Badladz and all of the wonderful staff!

Most important is the diving. Well organised dive shop on site. Good equipment well maintained. Instructor Gavin patient an thorough. Dive Masters Bhon and Christian responsive to conditions and my preferences. High level of skill, professionalism and personality. Very individual service. Huge variety of great dives. Well managed and reliable . The resort is dated but perfectly adequate. Aircon good fan useful. Priced appropriately. Wifi effective only in restaurant.

Basic but clean.

Had a few issues that were resolved by the hotel and although we changed rooms three times, the hotel was very accommodating. The area does not have a lot of shops or variety of restaurants like Sabang and White Beach. But they also don't have the party atmosphere either. Very relaxing area although there is no beach. WiFi cannot be accessed in your room. And the A/C operates only when using your room key. Overall, it is adequate for very basic accommodations. If your are looking for a 4 or 5 star resort,this hotel will not meet those requirements.

Had to move 3 times d/t a sewer odor in the room and a previous reservation of our room that they were not aware of at the time. In each case, the hotel accommodated us to our satisfaction. Also, great location for diving with Badladz.

Great divemaster, good restaurant, marginal rooms

If you want to dive, Badladz Dive Resort is great. If you want to learn to dive it's even better. Divemaster Gavin has been teaching here for 5 years. He's competent, thorough, and loves his job. The resort is super convenient for divers, right on the harbor. The dive boat is right there and there's a dive shop on site. The hotel has a very good restaurant staffed by lovely local girls. Good food, reasonable prices. The downside is the rooms. Hard mattresses and thin sheets really need to be upgraded. Also, when the community power goes out in the middle of the night, emergency lights in the room snap on bright as a sunrise. There is no way to turn them off. This happened twice. I had to get up and find towels and shirts to drape over them. Not what one wants to be doing after a day of diving. If management would address these issues the place would be simple, but first rate.
