The outside could be deceiving and could benefit from some fresh paint. Pleasant staff and room was perfect for price. The Sosua beach is about 10 minute drive.

The person Enrico that picked us up from the airport was so nice! He went out of his way to accommodate us and even stopped at the grocery store for us to grab supplies. The place was older but very clean and comfortable. We went for a nice walk to Sosua beach which took about 15 minutes and stopped at many little restaurants and shops along the way. If you grab a taxi from downtown it only costs 400 pesos and they are great! We never felt unsafe on our walk to and from Sosua beach or to restaurants and stores a couple blocks away. The pool is very well maintained. The staff and other people staying there were great. If you want a real experience of the great Dominican then I recommend staying here. Take the walk to downtown and Sosua beach and soak up the culture. We enjoyed our stay very much. It could use a few more kitchen utensils and pots but everything worked out well for the price we paid.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Eigentümer. Ablauf im Hotel ist sehr unkompliziert mit allem. Abholung vom Flughafen und zurück wurde sogar kostenlos vorgenommen. Sehr nett fand ich auch dass der Inhaber mir die Stadt gezeigt hat inklusive günstigster Wechselstube. Die Pension ist 1,5 km weg vom Strand und Innenstadt. Wem Bewegung nicht schadet wird zufrieden sein. Der Weg dorthin habe ich als sicher empfunden. Abends zurück bin ich meissten als Beifahrer mit dem "Moto Concho" gefahren, was nur 1,50 bis 3 Euro kostet, je nach Fahrer.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Estaphany liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum Sosúas und somit erheblich ruhiger. Es hat einen schönen Garten und einen Pool, der regelmäßig gereinigt wird. Die Zimmer sind eigentlich richtige Wohnungen mit Küche. Wir hatten die Wohnung Nummer 10 mit einem fantastischen Schlafzimmer: ein riesiges Bett mit sehr guter Matratze, hell und luftig. Diverse Abstellmöglichkeiten, Kleiderschrank, alles was das Herz begehrt. Allerdings ist der angegebene Balkon nicht wirklich ein eigener Balkon, sondern ein breiter Gang von dem die Zimmer abgehen, der mit Sitzmöbeln bestückt ist. Auch liegt das Hotel nicht wie angegeben 4 Gehminuten vom Sosúa Beach entfernt, sondern 30. Wir hatten für uns den Alicia Beach ausgewählt, der in ca. 20 Minuten erreichbar ist. Der Aufenthalt im Estephany hat uns rund um gut gefallen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Wohnung die Beste, die wir in 4 Wochen DomRep hatten.

This is a very nice, clean hotel/apartment. You will feel very safe here. A large fence, with a gate, surrounds the property. It has beautiful, tropical grounds and is well maintained and very clean.

Bra boende för resvana och spansktalande

Prisvärt boende, hjälpsam personal som gärna ansträngde sig extra för att vara flexibel. Vi uppskattade mycket att vi fick nyttja rummet mycket längre dagen vi skulle checka ut. Dock behöver man kunna prata spanska för att kommunicera. Inte långt att gå till bra strand eller till restauranger i närheten. Dock är själva Sosua ett område med mycket prositution, vilket märks tydligt. Bra med eget kök, inga problem med varmvatten. Balkongen är en loftgång. Trevlig pool, bra service med extra handdukar. Ett bra boende för resvana som inte tycker det är jobbigt att promenera eller arrangera saker självständigt. God säkerhet med portvakt.
