Marival Distinct is a beautiful resort. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The food is amazing. The views are breathtaking. All the employees we came across were very friendly and helpful. They all acknowledged us and said hello. We had a great time and will return if we have the opportunity.

Good property and service. But most of the restaurants were only open for 1-2 meals. Some were even closed for any meal. It was off season so I get the reduction of service. But it should be clearly indicated so you know when you make reservations that thereā€™s only 1 or 2 restaurants available per meal and not 5 restaurants. Felt a little mislead.

Food at all restaurants was Amazing! We frequently visit all inclusives and there is sometimes inconsistent food quality but here, every restaurant was outstanding and many staff made it feel special. The only less positive piece was multiple reminders for presentations for the time share and a bit disjointed start to check in when we declined this opportunity. Beach was smooth, which was a big perk as many have pointy rocks that need water shoes, not not here. Overall we'd recommend and come back.

I cannot rave about this resort enough. This was our second summer vacationing there and it is absolutely magnificent. The staff is top notch, you won't find better. I can't say enough about Jesus and Cesar at the main pool, Francisco at the beach pool, and of course Nina in the kids club. She treated my little girl like her own, she was absolutely fabulous. The rooms are beautiful and when we had an issue with ours, they gave us a new room and made it a super smooth transition. The restaurants are fabulous, we are huge fans of Mozzamare, but they are all spectacular. This resort offers a laid back vibe without the typical hustle and bustle/over-the-topness of some of the resorts in the popular beach towns. You can really relax here. We will be returning for years to come.

We had an incredible time at this beautiful resort. You could not ask for a better room, they are absolutely huge and the amenities are wonderful. The pool and grounds are kept immaculate and the staff is amazing. The restaurants are all wonderful, the beach one was our favorite.

We liked the hotel and amenities, it was quiet and relaxing. Room size was great, food was good. Couple of items to note: there are private residences between the hotel and the beach so if you are looking for something right on the beach this is not for you. There is a beach club with an pool around 3 -4 min walk which was good enough for us. Rooms donā€™t have soaps(hand, dish or laundry detergent), and each pods of laundry detergent is 3$ in the store downstairs so I would highly recommend bringing detergent sheets with you. The sister property with kids pool is around 15 min walk away or 4min ride on a golf cart, itā€™s great for kids to play in, but we avoided having any food there, the food was just not as good.

we all reallly enjoyed staying at this resort. First time we were able to get 2 rooms and a huge suite for the price of a regular 2 queen bed room . The food was top notch, loved eating at Insu the roof top restaurant for tapas. We all loved how quiet and less chaotic the resort was compared to the Marival Emotions . i enjoyed heading to Emotions for the shows and then escaping back to our resort for the food and quiet. The kids would have preferred a nonstop dessert place or ice cream bar and we missed having a coffee place we could go to whenever we wanted but other than that no complaints.
