The pool guy Daniel made the stay worth it. Mr.Castro was a great help and was great to meet him. The food was great. Mini split in the upper rooms were horrible? There is no beach view. Do not be mistaken by and pics. Great resort if you stay in a swim up. No beach All inclusive in fridge was like pulling teeth. Upper rooms rough AC Resort good not great. Employees tried and did great. Hope this helps

The hotel looks good, and the staff really tried their best. There is a laundry machine, but no detergent pods are provided — they charge $3 for a single pod. It’s an all-inclusive resort, but if you want to order food to your room, they charge an additional 10% service fee on the order, which has never happened to me at any other resort. They are very focused on going green, so there are no water bottles in the rooms , there is a cooler water in each floor, so you can fill water to your water jug The hotel also doesn’t offer quality alcohol at all, even for an extra charge. I upgraded to a beach-view room for an extra $1,000. At first, they placed us on the fourth floor, where the view was barely a beach view because the trees blocked most of it. They later moved us to the fifth floor, which is a little better, but there are still many trees hiding most of the view.

Hotel is fine but the description is misleading and not transparent. Property is not on the beach. You have to go around private houses. Don’t trust the pictures. It says all inclusive but there are many hidden charges. It says amenities but nothing is actually available and you have to pay charges to use certain amenities. So it’s not all inclusive. Hotel and staff are not very flexible. This is different from other all inclusive hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Disappointing. Kids club is not really kids club it’s a small playground

we all reallly enjoyed staying at this resort. First time we were able to get 2 rooms and a huge suite for the price of a regular 2 queen bed room . The food was top notch, loved eating at Insu the roof top restaurant for tapas. We all loved how quiet and less chaotic the resort was compared to the Marival Emotions . i enjoyed heading to Emotions for the shows and then escaping back to our resort for the food and quiet. The kids would have preferred a nonstop dessert place or ice cream bar and we missed having a coffee place we could go to whenever we wanted but other than that no complaints.

I requested babysitters they confirmed and the day off after I had booked an island in a yacht they pretty much canceled on the babysitter so I wasn't able to go ahead and move forward with my plans. Also, there was bartenders and waiters that were rude, especially on the top bar and on the other hotel that they have the essentials as well. It was just a bad experience never staying there again.

Complicado desayunar ya que se llenan los 2 restaurantes que tienen habilitados y el servicio no es bueno ni rápido. Se paga demasiado por la estadía como para todavía tener que esperar un lugar para poder desayunar, espacio y personal tienen suficiente como para hacer esperar a las personas por una mesa. La comida en general del lugar es bastante promedio, no es buena tampoco mala. Dentro de la villa que rentamos, solo había 1 bote de basura en la cocina y era muy pequeño, para que te hagan el servicio de cuartos o limpieza, debes estar comunicándote al lobby para que te manden al personal.

Loved our time at Marival Distinct. A smaller and quieter resort which we loved. You could go next door to the sister property which is more kid oriented, we spent most time at our own resort even though we have three kids. We all enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the pool service was amazing. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. Only thing to be aware of is all meals are at sit-down restaurants except the service by the pool. It was a quieter time when we were at the resort so we never had an issue walking in and getting seated right away, however I would imagine when the resort is busy you might have to wait as there’s no reservations. Overall a great experience, we would go back.

Todo excelente !!!solamente el horario de la alberca de la playa se me hace imprudente !! No deberían cerrar la alberca a las 6:00 pm es la mejor hora para disfrutar sin tanto sol !!!

Room was beautiful, grounds were lovely, staff was friendly, area was safe and walkable. Spa and fitness center were great. Beach was beautiful. A few things to know—it’s eco-friendly, which is great, but that means no water bottles—you get three glass carafes in your room which sometimes get filled by staff, sometimes you need to fill yourself. The kitchen is not stocked; you can ask for pots and pans and utensils if you need to cook, however there are no kitchen towels or washcloths, paper towels, dinner plates, dish soap, forks or knives stocked in the kitchen. They give you four coffee cups and saucers, four spoons, and four glasses. If you spill something, you have to use a bath towel to clean it up. Housekeeping will wash your dishes each day and put them on the counter to dry. One day I was happy to see they had brought a kitchen towel to put the wet cups on to dry—imagine my surprise when I found that it was a pillow case. They used it two days in a row, not dried out in between, and the cups smelled sour. So I put it in the washing machine so they wouldn’t use it again. Bring your own detergent to wash clothes as none was provided, other hotels I’ve stayed provided a few. Food was fine but lunch got repetitive. No swim-up bar, no coffee/pastry shop. There’s a pay Starbucks at sister resort. Singers at the show/mariachi were great. Overall relaxing and quiet here, beautiful large rooms, with sister resort Emotions more lively with swim up bars and pool entertainment.

The staff was amazing. Irvin server and Francisco beach manager were amazing. Mariam server at the restaurant at the beach was lovely as well as Kevin at Insu. Our rooms shower door broke, but was fixed quickly. The food was amazing!!! Drinks are also top notch
