Really lovely stay where you can do lots of activities or just chill. Wonderful hosts who took great care of us. It was just so comfortable. Love the breakfasts too.

Gorgeous property, perfect location

High quality rooms with a large private porch overlooking beautiful tropical garden, and exceptional service from owners Sharon and Eric and their staff. Conveniently located, even without a car it was easy to get around, and the best breakfasts imaginable.

A Calm Oasis

This is a lovely oasis and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Eric and Sharon are exceptional hosts and the care and attention to detail is evident in everything, from the pristine, comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfasts to the beautiful grounds - with resident sloths! Highly recommend.

The grounds were spectacular and very well maintained. The hosts exceeded our expectations! They were helpful and always around if we needed anything. The included breakfast was amazing, fresh juice, eggs, fresh baking and granola with fresh fruit.

A Slice of Paradise in Puerto Viejo!

Colette and I loved our recent stay at Villas Pina! The grounds and facilities were gorgeous, the breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were very attentive and friendly! We hope to make Villas Pina our new "go-to" destination for regular getaways from the difficult winters in Minnesota! We loved the area too!

From the second we were dropped off by our shuttle, we were greeted by Sharon & Eric and given a tour of the property and the keys to our villa. Sharon & Eric are so inviting and go above and beyond making you feel extremely welcomed. The villas are beautiful and very well appointed. The grounds and pool are beautiful and very well maintained and the breakfast crew were amazing and exceeded our expectations daily. We loved our time at Villa Piña.

Eric and Sharon were excellent hosts. The breakfast fit the local cuisine and tasted amazing. The common areas and the room were perfect for relaxing before or after an exciting day along the Caribbean Coast. Eric's recommendations for local activities were spot on each day. Lovely!

I can only praise and give positive feedback!! Lovely place & lovely couple who owns it and takes care of you, proposes activities, tells stories about the food, locations etc. Lovely breakfast available every morning, in adittion to the coffee available every morning, which they bring to your room. Lovely place with sloths, birds etc around the premises. Lovely location a bit out of town but close to a nice beach, a store and still only a few min drive from town.

Our hosts, Eric and Sharon were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The morning breakfast was a dining experience. Staff was friendly and eager to help. The premises and gardens were beautiful and well maintained. There was plenty of wildlife on the premises, from a variety of birds to sloths. Would highly recommend.

Villas Pina is a wonderfull place to stay on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. It is beautifully landscaped by the owners Eric and Sharon. We had a roomy space with a private deck clost to the dining area and pool. The entire compound is enclosed at night to keep the owner's dogs inside so it is very safe. There are a couple of "resident" slothes that we were able to watch and numerous birds. The Lodge has its own private beach area which is quiet and beautiful. Good restaurants are nearby.

Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent stay in the Caribbean. Beautiful property. Gardens are amazing. Filled with geckos, dart frogs, squirrels and sloths. Just to name the ones we saw every day. Spacious comfortable room. Delicious traditional style breakfast each morning in the garden and the pot of coffee waiting for us on our private patio each morning was a perfect start to the day. Eric and Sharon are terrific hosts. Their attention to detail is superb.

Eric & Sharon were lovely. They have built an incredible property. The villas are absolutely perfect. We truly enjoyed learning about all of the plants and animals on their property. They have two beautiful dogs, 6 cats, and a resident sloth named Pearl. Breakfast is delicious. The "secret path" to the beach is delightful. Several of Eric's recommendations were spot on! Make sure to go to Lidia's restaurant. (Yellow curry shrimp was primo!) And definitely ask about an outing with Alex. You will learn all about his farm, see many animals, and kayak to the beach. It was our favorite outing! Thank you Eric and Sharon. We will definitely return!
