However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.”
“We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. “Comfortable and clean . Friendly staff especially Becky and Liv.Evening meal superb ,apparently chef Dave on duty when we stayed. It would have been better if staff knew what soup of the day was before taking orders ,a small detail but probably more professional. About 9 stairs up to the room ,staff did offer to help with suitcases .Car park is up a small hill but there is a drop off area to unload your suitcases to avoid having to walk down with them. Would return if only for the food.”
