“Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Hotel del Lago with my wife for a vacation and to golf. The staff was great, extremely helpful and hospitable. The building is a bit run down, as mentioned in other reviews, so that was expected. Could definitely use a deep cleaning, but we were there in the Spring so may have had some lingering winter dust to knock off. The breakfast was good, standard Uruguayan resort breakfast from our experience, the dinner had some good dishes too, and with Punta del Lago 20...

“interesante la experiencia de dormir en un domo familiar...en el interior podrían colocar algunas sillas y una mesa baja el aire acondicionado/calefacción funciona bien lástima que a nivel sonoro no se tenga aislamiento: hubo una fiesta el barrio hasta las 4am y francamente no pudimos dormir.. se oye también el ruido de la interbalnearia: podrían plantar unos árboles para que actúen como pantalla acústica el desayuno, fantástico, y la piscina, correcta ”

“This hotel is private, exclusive & ideal for relaxing comfort. The owner & staff were highly attentive to guests needs. Facility as a whole including rooms are extremely clean, and comfortable, the food is at another level of superb, and gives that extra touch of an exclusive bed & breakfast vibe, not to mention all the fun one can have with the LGTBQ family; clothing optional. "Mario" the owner is the best. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Excellent hotel, very well situated for walking around the peninsula as well as close to both beaches (closer to La Mansa). But its on a quiet street so very quiet for sleeping. The staff is excellent, responsive and very helpful. The rooms are lovely. The safe in my room didn't work and finding the switch for the overhead lights was a slight challenge, but otherwise everything was perfect. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant! Breakfast was excellent, but dinner was also excellent! Fresh...
