"What a lucky find! According to staff, this hotel has recently re-opened and has been redesigned. They are working on an outdoor pool, and new jacuzzis. There will be a full restaurant and after peaking at the terrace/ garden, my guess is it will host weddings and the like very soon. Simona was so friendly and helpful. I tried all the restaurants she suggested and she even pointed out a close by pizzeria that served the most amazing gluten free crust. They gave me a standard room (instead of the single) and the bed was amazingly comfortable. It was 8 minutes walk from the beach for swimming - 30 to old town Monopoli. (24 of you skip the coastal route), The breakfast was elaborate with perfectly fresh fruit and typical eggs and bacon. So glad to have found this gem and the friendly staff within it. I hope to stay again next year!"
