Beautiful and cozy hotel. Excellent location, convenient to every place I wanted to see in Old Quebec City. Utility closet has towels and toilet paper. Room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Instructions provided before arrival were clear and organized. I highly recommend and will return again!

Great location and charming. With that said if you are out in room 9 - be prepared for constant sewage smell that is not addressed by the hotel. It is obvious they are aware with the amount of air freshener they place in the room to compensate. Also hotel does not respond to any text messages regarding issues with complimentary products running out - we had no shampoo or body wash our entire stay.

Great location. Across from a park. Charming and clean. Easy to navigate the door system. The luggage check room was very useful. AC, microwave in hall, coffee, fridge. Very happy with my choice of staying here.

Great location! Beds were comfortable with really good sheets. Our room was spacious. Deferred maintenance-closet door didn’t close, curtain hooks missing, stain on chair. Older property so only walkup stairs available.

This property is in an excellent location for walking Old Quebec. Just like all the other properties around it, it is old and historical. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the main road, which is a very busy road so that was a little tricky for sleeping. The room was compact, clean, comfortable bed, had a fridge and coffee maker. The building is well thought out, only having virtual staff was not a problem, there is a room with extra supplies and a microwave for all guests to use. I would definitely recommend this place to others to stay.

Fantastic location to explore Old Québec! The only annoyance was needing to park a couple blocks away, but understandable given the locale.

Room was just lovely—clean and well appointed with everything I needed for a night’s stay. I was initially concerned about accessing the building and my room via door codes (would the codes be sent to me in time—or at all?). I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Email explaining access to building and room arrived just as promised; codes worked perfectly. A wonderful location which allowed for easy walkable access to major areas of Old Town and beyond. Only drawback to my room was the noise from traffic; however, it was not overwhelming. Area was safe and quieted down by about 10:00-10:30 p.m. If I head back to Quebec again, I’ll be staying at North House!

The room as very spacious and clean. No staff on site to advise of deficiencies, ie no shampoo and ran out of soap in the shower. We had to self stock the room ie wash clothes, toilet paper. The after check out luggage storage was not accessible. We were given a code but the lock was a key and not digital. Overall easy to access front door and room and very quiet.

Great location. There isn’t parking so if you have a lot of bags, you may need to drag them from a parking garage that is a ten minute walk away. It’s an old building so you get some creaking and smells but overall pretty comfortable and equipped. There is no staff or front desk but clear instructions are sent with the door codes to get in. Overall decent stay especially if you want to experience Old Quebec.

The property offers a great location. The communication and self check-in instructions from the hotel were also great and timely. The room was over all charming with a comfortable bed. Still, the room could be cleaner. Some dust was still there in obvious places. Also, it is an old building and the flooring was quite obviously uneven, creating gaps between the entry door of the room and the floor. It impacts the sound isolation. Other residents were quiet and respectful, but you would absolutely hear people going up and down, or talking outside the door.

Clean, comfortable, conveniently located. Be aware that upstairs rooms require carrying luggage up a narrow, steep, winding spiral staircase, and there’s no assistance. Really inconvenient not to have a front desk person.
